She then added baby bedding and accessories to her line and gained a following thereafter. Her hobby turned into Amy Coe Inc. in 1993, and she opened her first retail store in Westport, Conn. in 2006.

Since then, she has developed partnerships with Target in 2002 and with Babies 'R' Us in 2008 that have helped her expand her creativity into new product categories.
